After a soft opening in October, Pennsylvania Market is finally celebrating their grand opening this weekend. Trust us, you won’t want to miss out on the festivities. But let’s back up a second…what exactly *is* Pennsylvania Market?
Located in the Strip, Pennsylvania Market is one building that hosts a variety of food, drink, and other vendors. Think Smallman Galley meets former Pittsburgh Public Market. You can get anything from Roman-style pizza at Romulus Pizza to Edgar’s Tacos to baked goods from Warrior King Bakery or a variety of drinks. We’re super excited about all of their offerings, and especially the menu from chef Gaetano Ascione on the second floor.
Did we mention there’s a wine library on the second floor, too? Plus East End Brewing’s taproom is located on the first floor. All said, there are three bars in Pennsylvania Market, so no one will go thirsty.
So what about the grand opening? You can sample the amazing food and enjoy live music, face painting for kids, and even some vendor demonstrations. Keep an eye out for Bistro 108, Cherish Creamery, Hillside Orchards, Women of the Cloud Forest, and Mollie’s Trolleys. Stop by Saturday November 10 from 9am-2pm or Sunday November 11 from 9am-7pm to help them celebrate!
