As if the battle for Pittsburgh’s favorite sandwich wasn’t already competitive enough, there’s a new sandwich shop opening in Bloomfield that’s sure to shake things up.
Exactly what type of sandwich will they be serving, you wonder? We’ll sum it up in four words…
Peanut Butter Jelly Time

That’s the name of the shop as well as the long and short of what’s on the menu. This place is serving up the classic version of “Mom’s PB&J” and upgrading the traditional sandwich by offering gourmet PB&Js too.
Some of the more creative options include two waffles smeared with, you guessed it, peanut butter and jelly before being smooshed together for your enjoyment. Milkshakes, peanut butter sushi rolls, and grilled cheese round out the menu items.
Stop by this spot for a PBJ sandwich so good, it will have you saying “It’s peanut butter jelly time!”
