Cooler weather makes us want comfort foods, and pasta is one of our ultimate comfort foods. Add in the fact that tomorrow is National Linguini Day, and we basically have to eat pasta soon…right? Here are a few more places to get your fresh pasta fix – and make sure you check out part 1 from earlier this year!

Pane è Pronto

You already know and love DiAnoia’s, but have you been to their latest endeavor Pane è Pronto? It’s more of a grab-and-go shop with freshly baked breads and treats, plus ready-made meals (including ones with pasta, like lasagna). They also offer fresh pasta and various sauces if you want to cook at home.

City Fresh Pasta

City Fresh Pasta has changed a bit since we wrote about them in 2018! They’ve added a food truck and a location in Galley Bakery Square, and closed their Squirrel Hill location, but one thing hasn’t changed…they still make pasta. And it’s still delicious!

Iron Born

The rigatoni with bolognese at Iron Born is totally *chefs kiss* and has us constantly craving more. Not into meat? Opt for their marinara. And definitely consider adding that dollop of ricotta…#yourewelcome

Bar Marco

It seems that Bar Marco is not currently offering takeout, but they are open for indoor and outdoor (weather-permitting) dining. Which is perfect so we can get our chicken parm – and pasta – fix!

Casbah

Casbah has plenty of pasta on their menu, but the one dish we find ourselves craving over and over is their short rib ravioli. Our advice? Get the large portion and don’t plan on sharing…you’re better off having some leftover for the next day when you’re still thinking about it.

Bloomfield Groceria

Formerly Groceria Italiana, Bloomfield Groceria is the perfect stop for all of your Italian grocery needs. Pick up all the pasta and ravioli your heart desires to cook your own Italian feast. And make sure you throw a few extra goodies in your basket while you’re there because why not??
