We don’t know about you, but we think eating and drinking our way through a neighborhood is the best way to be a tourist in our own city. A drink here, a snack there…it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon! So grab a friend or two and head to Sharpsburg with us.
Redhawk Coffee Roasters
Start your visit with some caffeine at Redhawk Coffee – because we can never turn down a freshly roasted cup of coffee! Bonus – after you fall in love with their coffee, you can get a weekly or monthly subscription so you’re never left without.
4Four6 Distillery

Now that we’re caffeinated, it’s time to try some spirits. 4Four6 Distillery is a women-owned distillery making craft gin, rum, and bourbon. They have a few varieties of gin and rum, so make sure you get some samples to find your favorites. We drool over their bloody Mary pics every weekend, so you’ll probably want to grab one of those while you wait for them to pack up your bottles.
Big Shot Bob’s House of Wings

Snack break! Grab some wings at Big Shot Bob’s. If you’re not into their approximately one million flavors of wings, they also have plenty of burgers, sandwiches, hoagies, salads, and sides to fill you up.
Dancing Gnome

If you like IPAs, you’ll love Dancing Gnome. Their new taproom is even bigger than their last, and it still has an outdoor area with picnic tables. Make sure you check their website for their current beer list and food truck schedule. They also added a parking lot, although it’s typically pretty packed.
Hitchhiker Brewing Co.

We love coming to Hitchhiker because they almost always have a beer for a variety of tastes. Their sours are uh-mazing, and we are currently obsessed with their Vanilla Latte Porter (Filtered Distraction, if you’re wondering what to order). They also have an outdoor seating area with picnic tables and a rotating schedule of food trucks.
Mindy’s Take and Bake

After all that drinking, you’ll definitely want to stop at Mindy’s Take and Bake on your way home. Grab some biscuits for tomorrow, plus some food for today, and thank us later. Don’t forget to get some dessert, too, or you’ll regret skipping it. We’ve never had anything Mindy made that we didn’t like, so the only way you’ll go wrong is if you don’t order enough! And when you’re sad you finished everything you got, sign up for her email list so you can order her delicious meals to fuel your week…trust us.
