Bitter Ends Garden & Luncheonette is one of Bloomfields many gems located on Liberty Ave. This special spot should be on everyone’s to do list. Bitter Ends is tiny but checks all the boxes for all things charming and delicious. Grab a menu and your order will be taken right at the counter. Pick an open spot at one of the few tables inside or at the cozy breakfast counter. Pittsburgh’s weather is finally making a break though meaning the picnic tables outside will be a perfect choice on clear day. Bitter Ends menu changes daily and sometimes more than once a day! The hustle is real people. Menu options may be limited because everything coming out of this kitchen is fresher than fresh and the majority of the ingredients used to make these delicious dishes comes from Bitter End’s 1/2 acre organic farm, right outside of Pittsburgh and other local resources. Every menu item is made fresh with seasonal ingredients and we cannot get enough of what they are cooking up here.

You can expect every option to be full of flavor like sandwiches, salads, soups and snacks. The Goat Cheese & Honey Toast is a must and of course a whole wheat donut. (Totally guilt free if it’s whole wheat, right?) These glazed beauties are made daily and are always perfectly fresh. Expect a different glaze regularly with unique flavors like beet and pea shoot or pea shoot and blueberry. If you plan to sip on a cup of joe (or two) you get to choose which cup you’ll be sipping out of, from their collection of mugs.
