Your pet deserves a treat! You’ll find all kinds of fun toys and pet supplies at the Pittsburgh Pet Expo, November 18th-20th at the David Lawrence Convention Center! It’s packed with three days of vendors. It’s also the largest Pet Expo on the East Coast!

There will be over 250 exhibits! Show highlights include: live animal encounters, North America Diving Dogs, Cat show, Steel City Reptile Expo, Shelters & Rescues, Santa Paws (Photos with Santa). You’ll also get to see DareDevil Dogs, weight pulling, dachshund races, and more! Friday is half off admission!

Healthy Pet Products

Established in 2008, Healthy Pet Products is a locally owned and operated retail store, selling all-natural and organic pet food. They specialize in “raw feeding and have a very knowledgeable staff to assist you in choosing the right food for your pet.” Check out their basket of lamb chops, a top seller!

Salty Paws

The first doggy ice cream bar in Pennsylvania! Located on Butler Street, they have lactose free doggy friendly ice cream, cookies & treats. Your pets will love this! Flavors include maple bacon, vanilla, pumpkin. You’ll also find doggie doughnuts, cookies, cake mix and more. As they say, “pooch tested, owner approved!”

Animal Friends

For the past 75 years. Animal Friends has been “saving, impacting, engaging, enriching and affecting the lives of the pets and people of our region.”  They have many different animals, low-cost pet care, pet resources, and you can volunteer through a number of ways. Their mission is to “rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in crisis, ensure healthy pets through education, advocacy and affordable services, and inspire a community where the animal-human bond is celebrated and nurtured.”
