As archaic as this sounds, especially coming from someone that is a creative, the ideology of tattoos had always given me second thoughts. I wanted to know everything that there was to know about the “who, what, when, where and why” someone would want them, or even have the need to get one.
That is until, I, yes – I, went and received my first ever tattoo (a simple equality sign, for my LGBTQ brothers and sisters). The thrill of it all, the creativity and the workmanship – I mean, yes it is not for everyone, but it is truly an exciting experience.
Now, if you are in the mood to continue the excitement, then why not head over to be inked at this years Third Annual Pittsburgh Tattoo Expo?
The event, which is scheduled to be held on the weekend of March 8th, 2019 through Sunday, March 10th, 2019, is bringing together the best-of-the-best when it comes to getting inked.
Not only are many familiar faces from around the city will be in attendance, but the likes of some famous as well, including Spike TV’s Ink Master and Tattoo Nightmares.
And if that isn’t enough for you, The Miss Pittsburgh Pin-Up Contest will also be held during the expo.
This expo, which will be held at The Sheraton at Station Square, is a fantastic way to get to learn more about the business of tattoos, or if you are of age (18+), might even get your first ever tattoo – or your second, third, or more (sorry, Mom!).
The Third Annual Pittsburgh Tattoo Expo will be held at The Sheraton Station Square. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the day of the event.
