Saving up for the European wine trip of your dreams? Why wait when you can explore the beauty of Erie’s vast wine country right here in PA! Enjoy a day filled with fun and wine during Trax Farms and Arrowhead’s Summer Winery Bus Tour

Start the day off by departing from Trax Farms on a cozy charter bus. Participate in games with the opportunity to win prizes to pass the time, and enjoy a delicious boxed lunch from Trax Farm’s deli as you travel to the first stop of the day: Arrowhead Wine Cellars!

About Arrowhead Wine Cellars

Dating back to the early 1920s, Arrowhead found its roots in North East PA when Sicilian immigrant Carmello Mobilia purchased his first piece of farm land. Several years and successful produce sales later, Mobilia Fruit Farms would become a household name in the apple cider and fresh juice market. In 1998, Carmello’s third generation descendent Nick Mobilia Jr. and his wife Kathy were granted a winery license, and Arrowhead Wine Cellars officially opened its doors a year later on July 4th!

Since then, Arrowhead has produced acclaimed fruit wines such as their Pennsylvania Governor’s Cup award-winning Blackberry Wine, in addition to traditional red and white wines, blush, ice, and sparkling wines. Bus tour goers will have the chance to sample the best of the best of all wines and experience a hayride through the vineyards. All while learning more about its history from tour hosts Rege and Crissy Carver.

Continue the wine trip of a lifetime by reboarding the bus for a short 30 minute drive to the next stop: Burch Farms Country Market and Winery.

About Burch Farms Country Market and Winery

Burch Farms is a 6th generation family run farm originally expanded by James Burch (named Northern View Farms H.C. Burch and Son at the time). In 1979, James’s son Douglas expanded the property further and began producing quality apples, grapes, and peaches before changing the farm’s name to Burch Farms Quality Fruit Growers. In 2005, the new 5,000-square-foot Burch Farms Country Market was created offering seasonal produce grown on the farm, a bakery with fresh goods and cakes made to order, and a winery and tasting room.

Guests will enjoy a tour of the grounds and the market. Sample an array of signature wines like the Honey Crisp Apple Wine before ending the trip with a decadent pig roast with all of the “country fixings.”
