There’s no need to pack up the summer swim gear essentials early! On Labor Day, September 6, 2021, from 4-6:30 PM, Allegheny County will be celebrating the end of summer with a big splash with Pooches in the Pool.  Cool down with your pupper, pooch, doggo (whatever you call your furry best friend!) and embrace the splish-splash and paw pitter-patter in the water.

The best news? Pooches in the Pool extends to four different locations:

Boyce Park Wave Pool, North Park Swimming Pool, Settlers Cabin Wave Pool, and South Park Wave Pool.

Register here for Pooches in the Pool and beat the heat with its affordable admission of $20/dog for residents, $25/dog for non-residents with up to two guardians, and $5 for each additional attendee. Please keep in mind that one dog per guardian will be permitted.

Did you know? Allegheny County operates nine beautiful parks spanning 12,000 acres with year-round programs and activities for all ages. (and of course, dog breeds!) Be sure to follow Allegheny County Parks on Facebook and Instagram to check out all of the exciting happenings to celebrate the summer season such as its Summer Concert Series, Movies in the Parks, Summer Car Cruises, and more (before we splash into fall!)
