It’s almost time for one of the most EXCITING events of the year, Pride On The Shore! People will come from near and far to celebrate love in the Burgh. Pride On The Shore is one of the many events occurring as a part of this year’s Pittsburgh Pride Revolution celebration. Scheduled for June 3rd, this event will be filled with top tier entertainment! This event is a festival full of singing, dancing, and drag queen performances held at Stage AE on Pittsburgh’s North Shore. This premiere Pittsburgh Pride weekend event is one you will certainly not want to miss!
Pride On The Shore is a one day entertainment festival beginning at 4 pm on Stage AE’s outdoor stages. The map pictured shows you a detailed layout of where everything will be located for the event. Be sure to take a look prior to the event so you are able to navigate to the closest food, bars, restrooms, and of course photo booth areas (because we know nothing says festivals like some stellar photo ops). The festival will begin with the Pre-Show on the smaller of the outdoor stages located near the sponsor tents. The Pre-Show will welcome some exciting performances by Luna Skye, Indi Skies, Calipso, and over 20 more entertainers!
A General Admission ticket will get you access to the performances all night long on Stage AE’s outdoor mainstage as well as access to the food concessions, bars, free water stations, and all of the artist and festival merch! If you’re looking to skip the lines, you can purchase a VIP ticket that will allow you access to the express VIP entrances, VIP bars, and a premium up-close viewing area. The line-up for the event features the one and only JESSIE J! The Price Tag and Bang Bang singer will be headlining Pride On The Shore along with other stars such as Mo Heart, Pennywild, and more.
Keep the fun going with the second half of the event, the After-Party. This is a separately ticketed event inside of Stage AE on the main indoor stage where things will get even wilder! Beginning at 11 pm and running until around 2 am, this portion of Pride On The Shore will feature well-known queen and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 3, Trixie Mattel! Trixie is a singer, actor, and drag queen that will definitely keep the party going into the night entertainment! Another featured performer of the After-Party is Dave Audé. Known for his 2016 Grammy Award-winning remix of Mark Ronson’s Uptown Funk, Dave will 100% be a highlight of the late night show.
If you’re coming from out of town, or are looking for overnight accommodations, ya know since the party will be lasting late into the morning, check out Hyatt Place Pittsburgh-North Shore. Hyatt Place is partnering with Pride On The Shore as it is conveniently located two blocks from the festival venue! If you are looking for parking, there will be two lots across from Stage AE that are accessible for festival attendees. These two lots are the Heinz Field – Stage AE lot and Gold Lot 2.
In true pride fashion, Pride On The Shore is not only going to provide a safe and fun environment to celebrate Pride Month, but is also giving back to the community through various channels. Pride On The Shore is donating a portion of the event’s proceeds to local charities, one of which is Proud Haven. Proud Haven is a non-profit with the goal to assist LGBTQIA+ youth, ages 18+, and adults that are experiencing homelessness and housing instability in the Pittsburgh area. Proud Haven aims to find resources and housing options for anyone encountering these hardships. By donating to this non-profit, Pride On The Shore will help fund housing for the LGBTQIA+ community as well as assist in funding emotional support resources to help 18-25 year old members of the LGBTQIA+ community develop skills needed to live independently. Tickets will also be given out to members of the LGBTQIA+ community that want to attend Pride On The Shore, but don’t have the resources to purchase tickets for the festival.
This event is going to be incredible for SO many reasons, which means you need to secure your tickets today! Pride On The Shore has already sold out of the first tier of tickets at both the GA and VIP levels, so be sure to secure your tickets as soon as possible.
