Betty White Film to Stream at Several Pittsburgh Theaters
Although Betty White left this world just a short two weeks before her 100th birthday, her documentary Betty White: 100 Years Young – a Birthday Celebration is still airing in nearly 900 theaters nationwide. “This celebration of America’s sweetheart is an opportunity to remember Betty White’s amazing life and career,” says film producers Steve Boettcher and Mike Trinklein. The film is airing at 8 different theaters today only throughout the Pittsburgh area, for tickets and showtimes visit here.
Spirit Everlasting: A Tribute to Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Join DEMASKUS Theater Collective, special friends, and featured guest Calesta Day as they celebrate the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Throughout the event Collective members will read portions from Howard Thurman’s novel Jesus and the Disinherited, rumored to have been carried by Dr. King everyday. Calesta and other local and national artists will collaborate to frame the presentation with beautiful music. The tribute will premiere today here at 1 p.m. on the August Wilson African American Cultural Center’s Facebook and YouTube where it will remain for viewing at any time.
