Art and music alert! Take a trip down Butler Street for all the cool artwork and awesome bands you desire. The Lawrenceville Art Crawl happens August 5th from 1pm – 9pm.
You’ll find 200+ artists, 45+ crawl stops, and 75+ bands. Come on out to Butler Street (35th to 56th Street) and support the community. Plus, it’s free!
Having experienced the art crawl firsthand, I can say that it’s a really fun event – there’s so much to see, from local artwork to live music. Butler Street will be lined with artists, musicians, and vendors, all of which will be showcasing their finest work at local businesses.
The crawl is all about checking out everything along the way. You can go your own route. It’s not a planned crawl with times at each stop. You can also meet a lot of cool people. If you like art and music, this is your atmosphere!
On the Lawrenceville Art Crawl event page, they mention the importance of the event and what it means to the community at large. “The Art Crawl unifies the neighborhood for a day with vibrant culture, which in turn creates a platform for artists to further their career, for local shops to have a sell out day, and it fosters new relationships between public, small businesses, and artists alike.”

The event is presented by Redfishbowl. They are a performance venue with an “artist collective that unifies different networks, mediums, and genres.” You can also get tickets for the Art Crawl After Party (21+) which will be at Redfishbowl!
