“Merry Christmas” meets “Merry Krampus”. Forget the merry this holiday season and instead embrace the scary. That’s right, Krampusnacht is almost upon us and it can only mean one thing: Scary good fun for all those on the Naughty List.

Sure, you might think you’ve been good this year and deserve a visit from jolly ol’ St. Nick but let’s be honest a visit from Krampus most likely fits your year. Even if you have been good, go on and indulge your naughty side – after all it’s just for one night

Krampus Fest aka Krampusnaucht returns for another year as a ticketed event in Station Square on Monday, December 5th. The 7pm parade of Krampuses will be followed at 7:30pm by a musical performance by Sleigher – Krampus Band at the Hard Rock Cafe. This is an all ages event (provided minors are accompanied by a legal guardian). Kids 12 and under get in for $5. Advance general admission tickets are $15 (day-of price is $20). VIP tickets are $40 and include one drink and a keepsake photo with Krampus. (Seat/table reservations are to be made separately.)

Or you can have yourself a merry little Krampus in Market Square (the former home to Krampus Fest) where an officially unofficial free Krampuslauf and Krawl event will take place on Monday, December 5th. The 7pm Krampus procession will be followed by free photo ops with the Krampen. This all ages event will then be followed by a bar krawl (for those 21+)

To properly prepare yourself for Krampusnacht be sure to head to the Krampus Holiday Market in the Monroeville Mall on Sunday, December 4th from 12pm – 6pm. This market is a celebration of Krampusnacht with vendors of handmade curiosities, collectibles, and holiday goodies. General admission is $8 (for 12pm-6pm) or upgrade to the early bird admission (starting at 11am) for $12.

If you want to fit in even more naughty before all the nice then be sure to check out ScareHouse’s Photos with Krampus on Saturday, December 3rd from 12pm – 4pm. For $20 you can get a physical 4×6 print and online digital copy of a photo with Krampus. No reservations or advance purchase is necessary.

And be sure to kick everything off on Friday, December 2nd at 7pm at the Penn Brewery with a free all ages show featuring Sleigher – Krampus Band during the brewery’s St. Nicholas Bock – Brewer’s Reserve Tapping Party.

Now get out there and demon-strate how nice it can be to be so naughty.
