One of the coolest events of the Christmas season happens at the Benedum for the “Home for the Holiday’s” show. The cool thing about it? The entire lineup is Pittsburgh born talent, showcasing many of the area’s artists and songwriters. During the show each singer will perform holiday classics along with their own original songs.
This year’s lineup features a variety of musical genres, backed by a house band of horns, trumpets, backup vocals and saxophone. The stage is going to be packed with awesome Pittsburgh artists spreading the holiday cheer: the high energy soul of Lyndsey Smith, pop indie singer songwriter Brooke Annibale, blues icon Billy Price, critically acclaimed actress and singer Margot Bingham, Pittsburgh legend Donnie Iris, The Clarks lead singer Scott Blasey, and many more! One can only hope for an all star rendition of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” by the end of the night.
