The first day of spring has officially sprung! As the daily weather reports show us more signs of sun, Trax Farms, a short 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, has a plethora of events for you to enjoy this spring and summer. Keep reading for a list of exciting happenings from family friendly to 21+!
April 12th & 13th: Children’s Easter Craft Class
10:30am – 12:30pm | 1:30pm – 3:30pm
Hop on down to the Trax Farm Market for some egg-stra special Easter fun for you and your little one! Kiddos can create their own Chocolate Bunny Tie Pillow with supplies and guided instruction provided by Trax Farms’ staff. After craft-making time, say hello to the Easter Bunny plus receive a bonus Easter treat!
Parents and/or legal guardians are required to be present during the entire two-hour duration of the event. Tickets starting at $25 per class session can be purchased here.
May 3rd & 4th: Mother’s Day Craft Class
12pm – 2pm
Skip the busy restaurant scene this Mother’s Day and take the special woman in your life to Trax Farms’ annual Mother’s Day Craft Class. Everyone is welcome!
Spend a peaceful afternoon crafting a beautiful air plant arrangement—the perfect spring decoration. Tickets to the class include all materials, guided instruction, delicious snacks, and a bottle of wine from Arrowhead Winery to share amongst your group!
This class is the perfect way to connect with your creativity and treat yourself (or your loved one) to a day full of fun! Check back in early April on the Trax Farms website for tickets and more information.
June 14th & 15th: Enjoy a Homemade Strawberry Slushie!
11am – 4pm
Take a sip of summer and enjoy Trax Farms’ fan-favorite homemade strawberry slushies returning to their market cafe on June 14th and 15th!

June 28th: Summer Wine Festival
12pm – 4pm
Celebrate summer and all the joy it brings at Trax Farm Market’s Summer Wine Festival! Take a scenic hayride through the farm, enjoying the beautiful views as you make your way to the Trax Farm Market Pavilion, where 9 different wineries will be waiting for you!
Sample wines from each winery, enjoy live music, and delicious food trucks while taking in the farm scenery. This event is for adults 21+. Those interested should check back for tickets.
July 19th: Farm Festival Featuring Scott Blasey from The Clarks
12:30pm – 3:30pm
Rock the Farm this summer with an intimate outdoor concert at the Trax Farm Market Pavilion! Lead singer, Scott Blasey, from “The Clarks” will perform lively tunes that will have you dancing the night away against the beautiful backdrop of the farm.

August 9th: Sunflower Festival
12pm – 4pm
Join Trax Farms for the ultimate celebration of their golden sunflower harvest. You and your family are invited to the rolling hills at the Trax Farms pavilion.
Ticket holders will have the opportunity to take a scenic hayride to the sunflower field, take unlimited photos, pick six sunflowers and grab water for them, enjoy music by a talented artist, and delicious food from local food trucks. Sign up to be notified when tickets go on sale here.
August 30th: Summer Wine Bus Tour
8am – 8pm
Take this popular, annual trip with Trax Farm Market to Erie’s Wine Country! Learn all about wine tasting and making some of the best wine Pennsylvania has to offer.
First, explore Arrowhead Winery, then travel to Burch Farms Winery on an exciting bus ride to enjoy more wine and a pig roast! Check back here for tickets and more details.
