The Fall Festival takes place every weekend from September 21 through the end of October, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Take advantage of all the fall things — we’re talking hayrides, apple picking, pumpkin picking, and more. They usually bring together local artists and musicians as well, along with kid-friendly activities. This is an event where there’s something for everyone.

The best thing is that getting into the farm is free. Plus, everything you buy from the orchard is local, fresh from the garden, and so delicious. Soergel’s has a small cafe with great soups and sandwiches that use their local produce. There’s also a quaint bakery complete with all the fall treats.

Try Amish donuts or apple cider donuts, in addition to all the cakes, pies and cookies you could imagine. Soergels also offers Arsenal Cider, Aurochs Brewing Company, and Boyd & Blair Potato Vodka.

The farm gets busy during the Fall Festival season, but they have a lot of parking behind the orchard and they’re usually staffed in preparation. If you’re hoping to avoid crowds, get there earlier in the day.

Whether you’re looking for fresh produce to decorate with, cook with, or just enjoy the experience, pick-your-own pumpkins last from September to November, and apples are July to November. Soergel Orchards’ Fall Festival is a seasonal, local favorite, that’s sure to get you excited for autumn.
