Vegfest is the best! The popular all vegan festival takes place at Allegheny Commons Park on the Northside on August 21st! It’s a really great event that keeps growing each year, celebrating “the vibrant and diverse animal advocacy with a day of celebration and fun.” The family friendly outdoor festival showcases the best food, shopping, animal welfare, and non profit organizations in Pittsburgh! Voted best food festival two years in a row! We’ve showcased some of the really cool vendors that will be at the event. Admission is free!

Treat your pets! Pied Piper Pet Sitters is a dog walking and pet sitting service in your home! They will be handing out free baggies with vegan dog treats. Enter a raffle drawing! You can also find Save our Strays, Biggies Bullies, and more. And make sure to stop by the 412 Food Rescue, Pittsburgh Vegan Society, Vegan Pittsburgh. For the kids–obstacle course and bounce house, goodie bags, free face painting, and pet/people caricatures by Adam Walmsley.
