This year’s David Alan Fashion Show will feature more celebs, more charities, and a breathe taking new location on Mt. Washington! One thing is for sure: it has all the making’s for the best year yet. Here’s a look at the top things not to miss at the third annual event.
Pittsburgh Celebs and WWE Superstars
Each year the list of celebrities attending David Alan’s show gets bigger and bigger. This year proves to be no exception as the list includes Pittsburgh Steelers Roosevelt Nix, Anthony Chickillo and Santonio Holmes. The one and only Pittsburgh Dad also returns to the runway as well! WWE superstars include Sheamus, Nia Jax, Mojo Rawley, and more to be announced! Christian Navarro from the hit show 13 Reasons Why also joins this year’s list. And we can’t forget the always entertaining and charismatic ESPN/WWE announcer Jonathan Coachmen, who is back to emcee for the third year in a row.
Children’s Hospital rocks the Runway
It’s all for a great cause, as the event supports the It’s about the Warrior Foundation, Cuddles for Kids and Ronald McDonald House. A very cool thing that is happening this year involves five kids from Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. They are each battling leukemia, and will be dressed in custom clothing, walking alongside the celebs on the runway. And Brandon Rumbaugh, a retired US Marine, who lost both of his legs in Afghanistan, will return to walk the runway this year.
Spectacular Setting
Pittsburgh has never seen a fashion runway with this backdrop! 120 yards of Grandview Avenue on Mount Washington will be shutdown, making way for the 40 foot runway. A breathtaking view of the city will be sure to provide a unique atmosphere. Can you imagine a better setting? All the stars will be lined up for this one!
David Alan’s Latest Line
David Alan has been designing suits for high profile athletes, including WWE superstars and Pittsburgh Steelers, becoming a rising name in the fashion industry. The runway will feature the latest in David Alan’s collection of custom made suits, along with the Proper Knot, which he invented. The Proper Knot has the ability to add a custom knot on top of the tie’s knot, allowing to mix and match color combinations! All of his latest design will hit the runway!
The Party!
You won’t want to miss this party. Aside from the celebs walking the runway, the event features music and drinks and a high energy vibe to the show. Not to mention that it’s for a great cause. If you want the coolest party with the latest in fashion then this night is for you!
