As the weather continues to get colder and we reach the cusp of a classic winter in Pittsburgh, we have provided a list of local shops that have everything you will need to keep warm!
Tal & Bert Mercantile
Located on the cozy and charming West Liberty Ave in Dormont, PA, Tal & Bert Mercantile is a fairly new brick and mortar home goods store. Selling custom made planters, tealight candle holders, and other vessels created by Tal & Bart, the store also offers home decor that will keep you toasty and warm. From huge pillows, to blankets that will not only help you achieve a fresh minimalist style but protect you from the cold.

We bring you another gift shop but this time in the heart of Lawrencville, Wild Card is a witty, unique, business presenting clothing, accessories, decor, books, and more. We move from clothing and decor shops to something guaranteed to warm you up, hot chocolate. Becoming a fad in late 2020, hot cocoa bombs have jumped from your Instagram timeline to being sold right here in Pittsburgh. There are several places in the ‘burgh to choose from to get these tasty bombs but our ultimate fave is Square Cafe located in East Liberty. With seven different flavors to choose from; Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate (served with vegan marshmallows), Dark Chocolate – Caramel, Dark Chocolate – Peppermint, Milk Chocolate – Cinnamon, and Milk Chocolate – Toffee; the only thing standing between you and the perfect winter evening is a visit to the cafe or ordering online for pick-up!This content was provided by a local, independent contributor to Made in PGH, a lifestyle blog.
