Dapper Dan Awards: Athletes and Celebs come together for the annual awards honoring the best in Pittsburgh sports. This year’s honorees include Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner and Pitt athletic director Heather Lyke. NFL Hall of Famer and Steeler all time great Jerome Bettis will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. Money raised at the event goes to the Boys and Girls Club of Pennsylvania.

August Wilson Center: Tubman – A One-Woman Show: This one-woman show tells the story of Harriet Tubman reimagined as a young woman growing up in Harlem in present day. “What would happen if a young woman like Harriet became a leader in this new world? Would her struggle be the same?” Tickets start at $23.75.

Netflix Lights Glamour Action: The awards season culminates with this annual gala benefiting the Pittsburgh Film Industry. The event was moved to a Saturday night this year, which should make for more of a party atmosphere — and you won’t have to worry about missing the Oscars. Walk the red carpet, enjoy gourmet food stations, and don’t miss the premium cocktails.

Winter Beerfest: So many beers, sooo many choices! Close out your February events list with over 100 local and national breweries, all the while enjoying live music with thousands of other beer fans. There are three sessions to choose from: Friday 6:30-11pm, Saturday 12-4:30pm, Saturday 6:30-11pm. Beerfest is back!
