You know it’s fall when the pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin beers start flowing (check out 12 of our favorites here!) But what if you’re in the mood for something besides coffee or beer? Luckily we’ve gathered up 10 drinks – think hard apple cider and cocktails – to satisfy your fall adult beverage needs!

Eliza, at the Hotel Indigo

We aren’t totally sure what’s in the Blast Furnace cocktail – but it looks like it has whiskey and maple, and that’s all we really need to know.

Arsenal Cider House

@arsenalcider

Arsenal Cider makes hard apple ciders…do we even need to say anything else about it? Oh right, we should mention that they’re delicious and have a wide variety, including what we can only call a frozen hard cider slushy for those hot fall days.

Wigle Whiskey

@wiglewhiskey

You know Wigle has great whiskey, but did you know they make maple and apple liqueurs, plus apple and ginger whiskeys? And you can always stop by the distillery for one of their fabulous seasonal cocktails.

Threadbare Cider House

@threadbarecider

If you love Wigle, you should check out their cider house, Threadbare. It’s named after Johnny Appleseed’s threadbare clothing – see what they did there? They obviously have delicious apple ciders, but they also have dinner, brunch, tours, and various events.

KingView Mead

Mead feels like a very fall drink, don’t you think? Like wine’s fall cousin. KingView also makes ciders, and you know how much we love ciders!

Apis Mead

@apismead

If you’re looking for even more mead, you can find Apis in a ton of restaurants in and around the city. Or check them out in Carnegie – and get a flight while you’re there!

Smallman Galley

@smallmangalleypgh

Smallman Galley’s latest charity cocktail benefits March of Dimes, and it’s bright purple…so we’re sold. We aren’t sure what butterfly pea flower infused brandy tastes like, but we’re betting it’s delicious paired with fig vodka, lemon, and ginger beer!

Strange Roots

@strangerootsbeer

We know Strange Roots was just on our list of awesome outdoor hangouts, but they also recently announced their new cocktail, pomm d’automne. It’s made with apple cider, vanilla vodka, butterscotch, cinnamon and sugar. Hello, fall in a glass!

Lorelei

@loreleipgh

Newly opened Lorelei boasts an impressive cocktail menu with plenty of “weird but tasty European thing[s]”. We’ll be the judge of that, starting with the Curry Haus, please.

Mad Mex

The Apple Cider Margarita combines two of our favorite things! Is it even fall if you haven’t had one yet?
