Dip A Toe, a travel blog turned travel guide, curates their shop with items collected from, and inspired by, their travels. While the Dip A Toe shop opens in-person and online only twice a year, a special holiday-inspired pop-up called “HolidayHaus” is open in Point Breeze Friday – Sunday from November 29th – December 14th.

HolidayHaus, set in an actual mid-century modern home, is an immersive retail experience showcasing a curated collection of home goods, apparel, accessories, and furniture, blending design, fashion, and travel.

Founded by Pittsburgh native Sara Droz, Dip A Toe is a travel-inspired lifestyle brand primarily featuring a collection which Droz hard-carries from her travels—including handbags from Rome and Paris, knitwear and apparel from the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Denmark, as well as accessories and textiles from Greece and Mexico. The international designs are then joined by Pittsburgh artists and designers to round out the collection.

Featured local partners include a furniture collection curated by interior designer, Lexi Ribar, home goods by HAN Studio, an art exhibition featuring the work of Ignacio “Natxo” Arteta, represented by Concept Art Gallery, a dried flower bar by Alex Halpern, Pottery by Louisa Rudolph, and coffee served all day by Sprig Coffee Co.

“HolidayHaus is about bringing the spirit of travel home,” said Droz. “Every piece in the collection reflects a story from the places we’ve visited and the people we’ve met along the way. We wanted to create a space that feels transportive, where every texture, tone, and object has been chosen with purpose.”

The HolidayHaus is an artful blend of mid-century sophistication and holiday warmth. Guests are invited to explore thoughtfully styled vignettes, discover limited-edition pieces, and experience a space where design and storytelling meet.

HolidayHaus (7137 Osage Lane) is open from November 29th – December 14th on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am – 4pm and Fridays from 3pm – 7pm.
