The History of Cardello
Nicholas J. Cardello, Sr. began his career as an electrical contractor and soon decided to open his own business as an electrical distributor. In 1947, with only $327, a 1941 Chevrolet and a living room which doubled as a counter and warehouse, Cardello Electric was created. He was known for his continuous innovations throughout the years. Nick was an active leader, donating his time and money throughout the community. His service continues to be remembered annually at the Art Rooney Awards with the Nick Cardello Award honoring volunteerism.
