Prantl’s Bakery

A cherished establishment in Pittsburgh for generations, Prantl’s Bakery uses traditional recipes and the finest ingredients to craft exceptionally tasty baked goods like their famous burnt almond torte. Visit their new location at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh. Select products are available to order today and pick up (or have delivered) the next day. 

350 Bakery

You’ll find classic scratch-made sweets from locally sourced ingredients at 350 Bakery in the Southside. Popular items include their cinnamon rolls and strawberry puff tarts along with fudge brownies, savory handpies, and scones. The shop is open Thursday – Sunday. 

Potomac Bakery

Located in Dormont and Mt. Lebanon, Potomac Bakery has been serving the South Hills since 1927. You can place your order over the phone or in person. Stop in and check out their delectable desserts six days a week (closed on Sundays). 

The Butterwood Bake Consortium

Lawrenceville’s The Butterwood Bake Consortium is a dessert cafe that features organic desserts, cake and pie by the slice, and party cakes. All desserts are lovingly made without artificial ingredients, coloring, or cornstarch and instead made with butter, cream, and organic eggs sourced Frankferd Farms Organic Foods. Open Wednesday – Sunday noon – 11pm, they also accept orders for home delivery via DoorDash. 

​Jean-Marc Chatellier’s French Bakery

Millvale’s Jean-Marc Chatellier’s French Bakery is famous for its Kouign Amann, Breton Cake, Hungarian Nut Roll, and Macarons. This somewhat hidden gem is only open on Fridays 8am – 5pm and Saturdays 8am – 2pm. 

Oakmont Bakery

Place your Thanksgiving order with the ever-popular Oakmont Bakery by Sunday, November 23rd for pickup before Thanksgiving. Please note that certain items cannot be ordered in advance—these include donuts, bagels, pastries, mini pies, mini cakes, and dolce. Oakmont Bakery will be open regular hours all week, except closed Thanksgiving Day. 

Five Points Artisan Bakeshop

Located in Squirrel Hill/Point Breeze, Five Points Artisan Bakeshop makes European style breads and pastries. In addition to their baguettes, croissants, and loaves, their Thanksgiving menu also includes cookies and pies. Call the shop to place a regular order. Thanksgiving orders can be made online until Thursday, November 20th.
