Coughlin’s Law Kitchen & Ale House
Coughlin’s Law Kitchen and Alehouse, nestled in Mount Washington with views of Downtown Pittsburgh from their back patio, features a seasonal gastro-pub style menu with 40 rotating drafts, wine on tap, and craft cocktails.
Open for lunch through the season daily at 11:30am with brunch service on Saturday and Sundays starting at 10am. Daily specials all day long including $4 drafts on Mondays, $2 off signature cocktails on Tuesdays, $6 Wine Wednesdays, and $6 Moscow mules on Thursdays.
Off the Rails Barbeque & Drafthouse
Off the Rails is a casual open-air concept that was inspired by a few of the owners favorite Southern restaurants. The barbeque is cooked on their Austin Smoke works pits (custom made in Austin, Texas).
They have a fantastic selection of craft beers (including many local offerings), a rotating craft cocktail menu, and live music (with no cover charge) Thursday – Sunday all summer long. And on chilly nights they’ll fire up their fire pit so you can keep on eatin’ on outdoors.
Wexford Public
This family-owned and operated casual American restaurant in the heart of Wexford is led by a husband and wife team. John the Chef, with his Executive Chef experience in local fine dining establishments, uses his creativity on a variety of daily features and culinary selections.
Having opened their doors in March this year, Wexford Public’s patio is ready for its first summer season. The patio is an amazing place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a great meal surrounded by flowers and a great atmosphere. It’s perfect for Sunday brunch with a mimosa and their delicious french toast or chicken and waffles. Check out “Pups on the Patio” every Wednesday and the last Sunday of the month. Over Eden / TRYP – Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville

The building, formerly the Washington Educational Center, incorporates old school design elements (literally). Senyai Thai Kitchen
Senyai Thai Kitchen, on Ellsworth Ave in Shadyside, serves some of the most satisfying, authentic Thai food in the Pittsburgh region. Sit in a cozy and unique dining room and covered patio protected from rain, heat and snow but is open to the summer breeze.
From the menu, pick from all regions of Thailand: crab curry from the south or hung lay curry from the north, and from other regions many tempting dishes, including the best crab rangoon in town. Vegan options abound as everything is made to order with a few exceptions. Reservations suggested for dinner, especially the weekend.
El Sabor
Centrally located between Bloomfield and Lawrenceville, El Sabor brings people together from both neighborhoods and is a place where everyone is welcome. Their outdoor seating area is a great place for anyone and everyone to gather.
