Fall in Pittsburgh means we’re gearing up for two things: Game Days and Turkey Day.
Keeping game day supplies on hand is a must which is why we stock up at Giant Eagle. Whether we’re tailgating or watching from home we’re always sure to grab our game day supplies and re-supplies from the Iggle.
Why do we love it so much? Well, not only do they have all the things we need for our fav recipes, but right now our Giant Eagle purchases can also earn us a free turkey!
That’s right, plan it right and instead of having to buy your Turkey Day turkey you can instead enjoy it for free!
Turkey is often the centerpiece of the Thanksgiving meal, but it’s also one of the most expensive items on the menu. Last year, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation, a 16-pound whole frozen turkey accounted for 45 percent of the total spent on the classic Thanksgiving meal.
This year, Giant Eagle customers have the opportunity to earn their Thanksgiving turkey for free simply by shopping at Giant Eagle between October 17th – November 9th. All eligible purchases made in this timeframe will help customers earn their turkey.
Customers who spend at least $300 will be entitled to a free small Giant Eagle frozen turkey (8-15.99 lbs). Customers who spend at least $400 will be entitled to a free large Giant Eagle frozen turkey (16+ lbs). Just be sure to use the same Giant Eagle Loyalty Card (Advantage Card) for each qualifying transaction. Progress toward a free turkey will be shown on receipts, and it can be tracked in the Giant Eagle app.
