Summer is wrapping up, and there are some can’t-miss events worth attending with friends, family, or a significant other! Make the most of this sunshine season through August – September in Pittsburgh with these outstanding summer events.

Bellevue Rhythm & Brews Festival

Located in the heart of Bellevue, Rhythm & Brews Festival is pouring up and sampling Pittsburgh’s finest craft beers and beyond on Lincoln Ave. with local, live entertainment, food galore, and more on August 17th from 4pm – 9pm. Tickets are $55 each — grab them now before they’re gone!

Little Italy Days

Little Italy Days offers free entry to the public and has a packed lineup of fun happenings for the whole family from August 15th – 18th in Bloomfield. Expect delicious food from local businesses and more, live music, a celebrity bocce tournament, and even a Miss Little Italy Pageant.

Pittsburgh Taco Fest

Who wants to celebrate tacos for a great cause?! Pittsburgh Taco Fest is coming in hot on September 14th from 12:30pm – 7pm at The Stacks at 3 Crossings. The festival helps to benefit The Pittsburgh Hispanic Development Corporation and Casa San Jose. Tickets range from $13 – $49, and you can see the full list of tasty vendors here.

Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival

Experience the magic and awe of the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival in West Newton during weekends and Labor Day starting August 24th – September 29th. From themed weekends and great food and drinks to entertainment, kids activities, and artisans, you’ll want to keep exploring this blast from the past and coming back for more. Tickets range from $11-$25, and kids under five are allowed free admission.

Pittsburgh Irish Festival

The acclaimed Pittsburgh Irish Festival is back in action from September 6th – 8th at Carrie Blast Furnace. The festival offers an incredible lineup of talented musicians and dancers from Pittsburgh, New York, Ireland, and beyond. Plus, have a taste of Ireland and revel in the Celtic charm of fun heritage-inspired activities and shopping for all. 

Film Pittsburgh: ReelAbilities Film Festival

The 12th annual ReelAbilities Film Festival in Pittsburgh will take place in person on September 5th at the Carnegie Science Center, as well as on September 6th and 7th at Point Park University’s Pittsburgh Playhouse with screenings, after-parties, special guests, and art exhibits. There is also a virtual component from September 5th – 11th. Mark your calendar because tickets go on sale August 15th along with the full, dynamic schedule of movers and shakers celebrating independent film through the vast expressions of people living with disabilities.
