Christmas time is here! What better way to begin the holiday season than Pittsburgh’s Highmark Light Up Night on Saturday, November 22nd. Festivities include the tree lighting, live music, fireworks and more!
Highmark Christmas Tree Lighting with Zambelli Rooftop Fireworks

The annual lighting of the Highmark Christmas Tree is always a great moment. You don’t want to miss the official start of the Christmas season at 7pm on Penn Avenue and Stanwix Street! Keep the spirit going with the Zambelli Rooftop Fireworks following the tree lighting.
The PPG Plaza Ice Rink and UPMC Tree

The ice rink and UPMC tree is always the most festive area for a great holiday selfie. Check out the 66-foot decorated Christmas tree and go for a skate around the rink! Christmas music will be playing all night long too. It’s always an exciting spot on Light Up Night!
Peoples Gas Holiday Market

Due to construction in Market Square, this year’s holiday market will be held in the Cultural District at 7th Street and Penn Ave! Like always, there will be national and local vendors, which make for unique gifts. It’ll be interesting to see the new location for this year!
Live Music All Night
Local, regional, and national acts will take the Christmas energy up a notch. Rock act The Calling will headline the night. Known for their 2001 pop rock hit “Wherever You Will Go,” they will take the Riverside Stage at 8:30pm.
