After a five year hiatus, Vallozzi’s Festa di Limoncello will once again welcome summer in style in Downtown Pittsburgh. Back by popular demand, the “Cello Fest” takes place on Saturday, June 22nd from 1pm – 4pm at Vallozzi’s.

About Festa di Limoncello
For Festa di Limoncello, the restaurant’s open-air lounge, sidewalk patio, and McMaster’s Way (the street connecting Vallozzi’s to Market Square) will be transformed into a breezy scene from the Amalfi Coast. All so guests can experience a luxurious summer day on Italy’s Amalfi Coast right in the heart of Pittsburgh.
Sip and dine al fresco with Amalfi Coast inspired street foods, fresh Italian summer favorites, Vallozzi’s Abruzzi-style pizza, and also offerings from the famous Vallozzi Mozzarella Bar.
Lush garlands reminiscent of citrus trees, al fresco photo ops, world music, and Amalfi Coast-inspired beach umbrellas will all transport guests to a festive Italian afternoon of delicious revelry.

Returning After Five Years
Now led by the next generation, young business owner Julian Vallozzi has stayed the course in his family business with the restaurant’s Limoncello cocktail recipes. He also sources directly from Italy on a regular basis (including in this event’s featured dishes).
“I can’t tell you how many requests we have had over the years to bring back this event,” says Vallozzi’s owner, Julian Vallozzi. “It quickly became a staple of welcoming summer with scenery inspired by the Amalfi Coast; truly authentic food and drink; and people just toasting each other – celebrating life – and enjoying downtown.”
Handcrafted Limoncello, Cocktails + More
Vallozzi’s talented team brings the festival to life with a wide variety of fresh, handcrafted ‘cello flavors. Including traditional lemon flavor, as well as new flavors made in-house like fig, peach, orange, mango, and blackberry.

In addition to the tastings, the bar team has also created ‘cello-based cocktails, summer spritzes, and more. These will be available exclusively for guests of Festa di Limoncello.
Revelers can also cool off with a variety of brews, sparkling Prosecco, a selection of Italian wines, and more.
