For a cultural experience that captures Pittsburgh’s creative edge, check out Pittsburgh Earth Day’s 11th annual Ecolution fashion gala event on Monday, April 20th at Heinz Hall from 8pm – 10pm.

What began as a bold, grassroots fashion statement has grown into an annual defining celebration of creativity, sustainability, and Pittsburgh’s artistic spirit.
This year’s theme, Pop Couture: Fashion, Fame, & Obsession, blends fashion, dance, and live music with bold design and storytelling as it explores the intersection of identity, fame, and self-expression.

Designed as a fully immersive theatrical experience, Pop Couture makes a statement with a visually striking, high-energy, fashion-forward dance-theatre production that celebrates creative expression while questioning the cost of living in the spotlight.
“It’s more than a fashion show, it’s a celebration of creativity, innovation, and a commitment to a greener future,” said Emilio Cornacchione, Producer and Hair & Makeup Director for Ecolution and owner of Izzazu Salon, Spa & Blowout Bar.

Showcasing Pittsburgh’s local creative talent, the event features more than 20 designers presenting imaginative crafted looks, live music by local musicians inspired by the energy of the 1960s, and a dynamic ensemble of dancers and artists who tell a story of a generation captivated by image and influence.
Reserved Seating ($94) begins at 7:30pm. The VIP Experience ($217) includes the Pop Couture Soirée from 6pm – 7:30pm featuring an exclusive lounge style reception with a plant-forward culinary experience curated by Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel and two complimentary signature cocktails.
