Celebrate fashion and community with a pop-up photo shoot and cocktail crawl in Market Square. Pittsburgh Fashion Week (PFW) is bringing high style to Market Square with Style on the Square: Construction to Couture on Thursday, September 18th.
Step into a bold new era during a one-night celebration of creativity, sustainability, and community set against the backdrop of Market Square’s $15 million modernization project. Construction to Couture celebrates the rebirth of this central space as a canvas for creative reinvention.
High-Fashion Photo Shoot
Transforming the construction zone into a fashion show, the event features a high-fashion outdoor editorial photo shoot. 10 couture looks crafted from salvaged and repurposed materials will be featured, showcasing the artistry of local designers.
The one-of-a-kind couture creations utilize construction remnants and architectural textiles, paired with models from DochertyX. Hair and makeup will be styled by the Izzazu Salon & Haircare Design Team, with visuals captured by photographer Vondre Clark and videographer Nick Zaller. Creative design will be led by Gary Kalinosky of Acrobatique Creative.
Signature Cocktail Crawl
From 5:30pm – 9pm, sip, savor, and stroll through Market Square with exclusive drinks and menu items inspired by the spirit of Fashion Week.
Pick up a Cocktail Crawl Passport at the PDP info booth for the chance to win up to $500 in Market Square gift cards. Then, sample more than a dozen signature cocktails and culinary experiences.
