The 2024 Barrel & Flow Fest is bigger than ever! America’s first Black arts and craft brew festival is Saturday, August 10th at The Stacks at 3 Crossings.

Barrel & Flow “is the #1 brew fest in America two years in a row, as voted by the readers of USA Today, and [they] strive to be the most welcoming festival as well.”

Barrel & Flow Week

It’s been an exciting time leading up to this year’s event! On August 1st, Barrel & Flow founder, Day Bracey, welcomed BeerCode, “Pittsburgh International Airport’s newest gastropub at the Airside Terminal. The City of Pittsburgh officially declared the first week of August as Barrel & Flow week.”

This was celebrated with a special event on August 6th at the Highline. The proclamation took place at Burghers Brewing Co., which featured collaboration beer for the upcoming festival!

Barrel & Flow Exclusive Collaborations

There will be over 100 breweries and distilleries at Barrel & Flow this year! More than 50 of them have “teamed-up with Black artists, performers, and businesses to create unique collab beverages.” Try exclusive collaborations “as we celebrate Black breweries.”

Vibe & Imbibe, Crafters Market + Arts Initiative

There’s plenty of great music during the festival! “Dance to the beats of some of the best deejays & bands across the nation.”

Also be sure to check out the Crafters Market, where you can shop a “uniquely curated collection of vendors.” Another cool thing is the Arts Initiative. “Apply for an arts-based scholarship through our art+biz program.”

The Overflow Afterparty

The official after party (9pm – 2am) will be “hosted by a Pittsburgh icon” at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. The following day, Sunday, August 11th, will feature the Brewers Brunch, hosted by Mike’s Beer Bar. “Don’t miss the chance to enjoy delicious food and drink while mingling with the talented brewers behind your favorite beers.”

Tickets for both events can be purchased online now!
