When the weather is nice, the coffee shop opens its front windows so that patrons can feel the breeze and observe the hustle and bustle of one of Pittsburgh’s busiest city streets. During the winter months there’s often a scramble to get seats up in the charming upstairs loft, where business folks hold meetings, students hole up for study sessions, and those who are just weary from the cold take a break in the armchairs and browse through coffee table books. You’ll often see customers forge friendships and professional connections as they wait for their drinks or pull up seats next to each other.

The coffee shop has also donated or participated in charitable events for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Heart Association, Toys for Tots, South Side Chamber of Commerce, and the Brashear Association.
