Stuffd-Breakfast Pierogi

Nothing says Pittsburgh like potatoes stuffed inside of a pan-seared or deep-fried dough dumpling (your preference really). Huge shout out to the Slavic-Americans for introducing this comfort food to our city. Pierogies have become such a staple in our Yinzer hearts that Stuff’d Pierogi Bar has made a home dahntahn leveling up on the basic potato, cheese and chives classic on Seventh Street.

The menu at Stuff’d has something for everyone – from the basic Potato and Cheese Pierogies for those of you who stick with what you know to Lobster Mac and Cheese Pierogies for the adventurers out there. It’s not all about what’s inside of these tasty treats, at Stuff’d the toppings are just as important. My personal favorite is the Breakfast Pierogi – stuffed with egg and cheese and piled high with a sunny side up egg, bacon and a maple sriracha syrup. Seriously – you need to try it.

Obviously when you think Pierogies you think savory, salty deliciousness. But don’t fill up too quickly and save some room for seasonal dessert Pierogies. Past options have included strawberry pie and apple pie.

Stuff’d supports local by getting their quality ingredients and delicious fillings from small businesses around the Pittsburgh area. Open Tuesday – Sunday for lunch and dinner (and even open for a late night snack on Fridays and Saturdays), Stuff’d is well worth the stop.

Visit during Pittsburgh’s 2019 Restaurant Week and get your choice from select apps, entrees and desserts for only $25.19.
