The annual cookie tour is back! Yes, it’s as great as it sounds. The Joy of Cookies: Cookie Tour 2018 is all about eating cookies and supporting businesses in Lawrenceville! And this year’s event features more cookies than ever, with forty seven different businesses offering free homemade sample size cookies! The tour will be held November 30th through Sunday December 2nd. Each business will be open 10am-6pm (Sunday from 10am-5pm).

Need a break from all the cookies? There will be fourteen Take-A-Break stops open to grab some lunch, coffee and cocktail. The event takes place on the 5500 Block of Butler to parts of Penn Avenue around 34th Street.

The cookie tour cup will be awarded to the business with the most mentions on social media using the hashtag #cookietour2018. The Kickback Pinball Cafe took home the award last year. Who will win this year?!

And thanks to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh UPMC, two wheelchair accessible trolleys will be available to take guests through Butler Street and Penn Avenue. The trolley will be available on December 1st from 12pm-6pm. Festivities for the weekend also include a tree lighting and visit from Santa at the cookie mall on December 2nd.
