Pittsburgh’s craft beer scene is on a serious roll. And there’s no sign that it will be slowing down any time soon. Especially when you consider this recent announcement…Southern Tier Brewing announces first satellite brewpub in Pittsburgh, PA.

Souther Tier to the Steel City

Southern Tier Brewing is an innovative craft brewery based out of Lakewood, New York. And now they’re expanding their brewing operations to Pittsburgh, with plans to open a brewpub on the North Shore.

In a blog post on their website, STB confirmed the move citing Pittsburgh’s stellar craft beer scene and the prime location at 316 North Shore Drive, as motivation. Fans of STB (and good beer, in general) can expect a brewpub, complete with a full food menu, serving classic STBC beers and pub-exclusive brews made specifically for Pittsburgh. Be on the lookout for this brewpub and massive outdoor beer garden all within walking distance of Heinz Field and PNC Park.
