You don’t have to leave the house to enjoy a craft beer festival! This is because Fueled By Hops is putting on Cheers Yinz Fest! The virtual beer fest takes place November 21st and helps to support the craft beer industry.

Remember when we had to deal with crowds, long lines, and trying to find a parking space? This is the advantage of a virtual craft beer festival! The 4-hour event includes breakout sessions with industry speakers (diversity and inclusion in craft beer, upcoming beer trends, social media for breweries, and more), meet and greets with 25+ breweries (attendees can interact in the virtual expo), and a musical performance from F*ck Yeah, Dinosaurs!

Fueled By Hops began in 2019. The online community and blog is dedicated to craft beer enthusiasts–they’ve grown to include a craft beer blog, podcast and merch store.

In a press release Fueled By Hops founder Ryan Galiotto talked about the motivation for the event and the awesome response from the craft beer community.

“We wanted to create an event to bring the entire industry together for this cause. We believe there is strength in numbers and together we can support the industry when it needs us the most,” Galiotto said. “We’ve been absolutely floored by the response so far. This will certainly be a special event that no craft beer fan will want to miss.”

Tickets start at $10 for all-day access to the event. For $25, attendees can also receive a commemorative festival pint glass. An “extra generous” ticket is also available for $50, where the attendee will not only receive all-day access to the event and a festival glass, but also be able to donate an additional $25 back to the participating breweries.

The cool thing is that 100% of the proceeds from this event will be given back to the participating breweries to help them offset financial losses incurred during Covid 19. The “bigger” breweries are also jumping in and giving their “share” of the money to smaller breweries who participate and were likely hit the hardest!
