Winter has lasted 8 months, and we deserve all the cocktails in the world. Luckily, the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has stepped up to host the cocktail-inspired event of our dreams at the Benedum Center on Saturday, April 28th. The best bartenders in the city will be partnering up with the hottest local restaurants to create a unique food and cocktail pairing competition sure to stand the test of time.

1. All the Show-Inspired Cocktails

The Commoner, Rocky Horror Picture Show-Inspired Cocktail, October 2017

There will be *tons* of Broadway-inspired cocktails crafted by the most creative mixologists in the ‘burgh. Get ready for Or, The Whale’s Book of Mormon-inspired cocktail featuring Mahon Gin, and The Warren’s Aladdin-inspired drink featuring Death’s Door Liquors. Not to mention another dozen or so, but we promised not to give too much away.

2. Chef-Driven Food Pairings

Pittsburgh Business Times, Executive Chef of Talia Cucina & Rosticceria Steve Lanzilotti

Our favorite restaurants will be dishing out samples themed after their favorite Broadway show to pair with the huge variety of cocktails you’ll be sipping on. Highlights include Bakersfield, The Commoner, Il Pizzaiolo, and Talia (to name just a few).

3. Lavish VIP Options

Tales of the Cocktail

The VIP selection is next-level. Not only do doors open early, but you’ll have access to a VIP lounge, a Vermouth & Sherry bar, and off-menu cocktails. We definitely want to try “The Elixir of Passion” by Maggie Meskey, featuring habanero simple syrup and edible flowers.

4. The Baddest Bartenders in the ‘Burgh

Trust Arts

Christopher Cardone, a nationally-acclaimed and award winning mixologist will be mixing and crafting the night away along with local sensations Greta Harper and Maggie Meskey, and they’re sure to impress even the most expert cocktail connoisseurs.

5. Vibey Beats

DJ Selecta

DJ Selecta will be setting the ambiance, which will pay homage to upcoming shows and a variety of vibes from different eras.

6. A Pop-Up Photo Booth by Miss Thea Trix

Trust Arts. Miss Thea Trix

We *love* a good photo booth, especially when we get to hang out with the Fab Miss Thea Trix at the same time. Plus, Richard Parsakian, Izzazu Salon Spa, and Serrata will be curating cocktail-inspired fashions, so you can make sure your serving looks.

Plus, Trust Arts Members automatically get discounted admission, invites to cast parties, early access to highly-anticipated shows, and more. Not a member? Click here to sign up.
