We recently laid out our favorite pizza spots in Pittsburgh. While there are a ton of awesome options to choose from, it takes a lot of quality and flavor to keep us coming back over and over – and our current obsession is definitely Pizza Taglio.
At Taglio, Shadyside’s Roman pizza shop, you’ll find everything from the essential Margarita pie to one of our personal favorites, the May The Swartz Be With You, which sports sweet Italian sausage, shaved red onions, and pistachio (viva pistachio!) A major reason we love Taglio is for the creativity and originality that goes into creating these precious pies. Adding toppings like rosemary and guanciale makes each visit one to remember. Did we mention Taglio’s dough is totally organic and all their ingredients are local? Score!
And don’t forget, Taglio is BYOB (we’ll cheers to that). Not drinking tonight? Then after you’ve devoured your meal you’ll definitely want to treat yourself to an espresso, specially brewed by Commonplace Coffee.
Tip: Try the Pig Face Pizza with Mikes Hot Honey (drizzled or dunked). It’s a serious pizza game changer.
